Verified national helplines and reporting portals for people affected by these issues, or anyone trying to help them. Every number and link below is official government or government-mandated infrastructure — we checked each one, not just copied it from somewhere.
These are pointers to the right people, not legal advice. If you or someone else is in immediate physical danger, call Police (112) first.
You can report to the nearest police station (a survivor's statement can legally be recorded by a woman officer, at a place of her choice, under Section 154 CrPC/BNSS) or reach out to any of these first. One Stop Centres (Sakhi) offer medical, legal, and counselling support under one roof, free of cost, at district level.
Anyone — including the child themselves, a neighbour, or an employer's co-worker — can report a child working illegally. Childline is the Ministry of Women & Child Development's dedicated 24x7 service for this and any child in distress.
MANAS is the Ministry of Home Affairs / Narcotics Control Bureau's national helpline — for anonymous tip-offs on trafficking, and for connecting someone to de-addiction counselling. The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan portal below geo-tags 775+ government-supported rehabilitation centres and can find the nearest one.
Every district has an Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, working with Women & Child Development, health, and labour departments on both rescue and rehabilitation. For a trafficked child, Childline (1098) is also a direct route in.
Report online fraud, hacking, harassment, or financial cybercrime directly to the government's own portal. For a UPI, card, wallet, or bank-transfer fraud in progress, call the helpline immediately — the 24x7 team can act fastest in the first few hours to freeze funds.
